This is exactly what I needed right now - Art Happening, no matter what. I bookmarked it. Thanks for making my heart happy.
These are really cool!
I added a Learning Resources list to This is an Actual Website, my SFW and non-Oedipal alternative to motherfāking website in response to some rando emailing me with a recommendation to link to a tutorial that looked like LLM slop hosted on a content farm (the content farm is at websiteplanet.com, but looks suspicious).
ah!! thank you all for the kind words on my project!

finally finished a new page! (image-heavy, mobile-unfriendly, & javascript-dependent)
itās for playing with toys! itās pretty simple, but took a while since thereās a lot of images (75ish toys), most of which i had to edit to be transparent myself, and 50 name/character cards.
i considered having a big variety of types of toy for more of a random toybox feeling, but when i played with toys as a kid my storylines were always contained to one ātypeā - the only ones that crossed over were barbies and beanie babies - and that still makes sense to me. helps keep things cohesive to have everybody about the same size or in the same category of thing!
This is so cuuuuute! And I love all of the descriptions youāve included. I adore Calico Critters and have a small collection of my own. They do just beg to be dramatized, donāt they?
I do have a suggestion if youāre looking for ideas to add. It would be neat if you could add your own text bubbles/captions to further your own stories along. Then you could create a little panel and screenshot it to share with others!
Woooow! This is amazing!

Iām a bit obsessed currently. And inspired by everyoneās sites. So hereās another update. I added three pages: a sitemap, a page where I want to collect all the single pages I want to make, and one such single page.
I also put the change log on my homepage into a scrollable box. Iām not super happy with how it looks, but I do like a scrollable box thing. I am feeling a bigger re-design comingā¦
I like your design and the setup! Great job. Everything looks really good!
I updated two guides! One I made a day ago on how to filter a collection/gallery with radio buttons and css (no js), and my darkmode lightmode theme switching gude which Iāve had for a while, but just updated to include a method on how to also use radio buttons and css to allow a user to select a theme. I also finally added how to change stylesheets with js in my js section of that guide.
oh shit! i had no idea that filtering was possible with css⦠thatās really useful i think! :has seems pretty powerful :O
Your site is great! Iāve spent the last hour or so on there.
Your guides are very helpful. I want to make a style toggle/ selection and your guide is a good starting point. Or maybe all I need.
Love your earrings!
I finally added my phone number to my about me page, and my radio station! that way, people who find my site or listen in on a broadcast can ring me up. Feels alot more personable, and Iām excited to see what calls I get lol. (itās VOIP so itās not tied back to my government identity or anything. Not in any way a user could get :P )
You can find my site here! (kingposs.com)
And a redirect to my radio station page here! (kpradio.net)
i canāt believe youāre gonna pick up the calls!!! hearing voicemails through it would be very cool
This was actually a few nights ago, but I gave some actual attention to my websiteās homepage and updated my welcome message to include some poetic waxing about having a personal website because Iām a person.
I need to scroll up and read some more of the recent updates, but I love the fun horizantal hr thing. Mine are mostly gradients.
Iāve also been obsessed with making article display themes for my RSS reader, NetNewsWire. I have a pink one and a unicorn rainbow one now.
I completed my first new gallery of 2025! My Critter Corner is finally live and full of art, with more to come.
Thatās 1/3 galleries done for 2025!
iāve gone 10 days in a row doing Something every day!! i am very bad at building habits so this is pretty exciting. i even actually like the stuff iām making! ![]()
Love the tea turtles! And the floral borders.
Your pages are still wonderful! Loved the grass. I was so tempted to click away, but also curious. And then I took it as a prompt to just sit and watch, and the urge to click away went away.
My manatee shrine now contains a link to is my snoot boopable?
Thank you, @Melvian :)
thank you! itās kinda relaxing, right? i thought about having it go SUPER slow but iām pretty happy with the timing i ended up going with. quick enough to not be completely mind-numbing, but slow enough to be relaxing (imo). ![]()
