Both? In hindsight I think she was always lowkey “waiting in the wings,” but the combination of grief/shock and me being vulnerable resulted in her taking advantage of me in the worst way.

Spider Robinson’s been writing since the 1970s. If you’ve ever been on a IRC network like LiberaChat and seen a channel called #callahans, it’s a tribute to one of his classic novels: Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon.

Tad Williams’ Osten Ard series is one of my all-time favorites! I found it a little slow a first but he builds up a beautiful world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Just read it. I would suggest looking into the concept of samizdat (Russian for “self-publishing”) or asking your friends if they know about it, because websites run pseudonymously can be a form of digital samizdat.
