šŸš§ What did you do to your website today?

Finally took some time to clean up the supporters section on my admin and now itā€™s easier for me to keep track of the situation. I donā€™t like to automate things and I donā€™t want to set up webhooks to update this list every time something happens and having a better interface makes my life easier

Comments on my blog were powered by a mailing list. People could choose to either reply publicly to the corresponding email thread, or replying via email privately.

After much deliberation Iā€™ve decided to remove all comments on my blog and include only the reply-via-email link. Webmentions are still supported though, but they wonā€™t be displayed.

I wrote a blog post about this and how it used to work here:

Added a page for my record collection. Partially inspired by @fLaMEd (for the whole concept)

Itā€™s gonna be a WIP forā€¦ a whileā€¦ but I have a start, at least!

The style of your site is mint, super crisp and clean without being boring. Is the image dithering achieved via CSS or do you do it before upload?

I do it before upload! Itā€™s to make the images smaller in size lolā€¦ I much appreciate the comment!!!

Today i finally got a huge revelation about knowing what to put on my page and I made a guitar page.

i used to play guitar and may get into it again in the future. it was fun reading your page about it. donā€™t stress about the creative process to much when it comes to coming up with your own ideas. i found that listening to more music and taking creating my own work on guitar slowly as you mentioned was the best way to get better at it. i definitely canā€™t stress that first part enough, surround yourself with music that interests you in any way, get all those wonderful sounds going through your head as much as possible, it really helps!

Iā€™m still re-tagging my posts. Iā€™ve still got about 177 posts left. I honestly thought this would be easier, but itā€™s hard to do this when youā€™ve got a cat in your lap instead of a computer. (because it would be cruel to put the computer on top of the cat!)
