Introducing our monthly newsletter, 32-Bit Cafe Bytes!

hi there! this has been a busy week at the cafe. thank you to everyone who answered the feedback question if you’d read a monthly newsletter. this month, we’re launching the 32-bit cafe bytes newsletter, which will be arriving in your inboxes this weekend if you sign up before august 31st!

:envelope_with_arrow: subscribe here!

i know folks here know that we wouldn’t do this, but to be crystal clear: we will never, ever trade, share, give away, loan, or sell your email addresses or names to anyone, for any reason, for all eternity. your email will only be used for 32-bit cafe communication, and you can opt out at any time.

in our newsletter, you can expect:

  • community updates, including any announcements and launches
  • Discourse-specific updates
  • most popular forum threads of the month
  • discussion questions of the week
  • calls for volunteers for projects listed on the Discourse
  • upcoming events
  • blog posts, either written by 32-Bit Cafe members or outside the community, that talk about the personal web and subjects related to our community mission
  • featuring websites of our members

you will also be able to subscribe to the RSS feed if that’s more your fancy.

if you have feedback or ideas of what to include in the newsletter, i’m all ears! feel free to suggest anything below or send me an email at xandra@32bit.cafe.

i hope folks are excited about this as i am!! :bitty_excited:

Thank you for including an RSS feed! I subscribed to both, but I spend more time with my feed readers than I do with email, so it’s really appreciated!

Yes I appreciate the RSS feed as well, I find newsletters get buried in my inbox pretty quickly.

This rocks! I’ve signed up through the RSS feed. I’m looking forward to the next publication :eyes: I’ve shared this with a small tech and comic discord that I’m a part of.
