Lol, fair enough. In that case I’d probably give PurelyMail a go. Sounds like it might have some deliverability issues in certain (edge) cases but it’s a great deal.
I know I’m a bit late to this discussion but wanted to mention I’ve been using Purely Mail for about a year now and have had no issues. I mainly use Thunderbird to manage emails but their webmail (Roundcube) works really well too. There’s a new owner and he’s active on their Discord server. He seems genuinely nice and eager to make it a great service.

Samesies! Purely mail has been top tier for the ~6 months I’ve been using it. I started with Proton, but the pricing was just wayy too much for me. Purely mail really fits better and charges so so much less.
(also didn’t realize how late to the thread I was. oops!)
New input on this thread is always welcome! More vectors of reference are always good, as are changes in the products and services over time. (I’ve linked this thread for other people searching for the same thing from time to time)
I have a lot of thoughts about email. These days I tend to route everything to Fastmail and then forward Fastmail to HEY as the UI and features allow me to actually read my email.
For multiple domain names, I use Cloudflare for DNS and they have a free email routing option now. You verify an email address (example@example.com) and then you can forward any user at any of your domain names to any addresses you’ve verified. You can do a catch-all too if you like.
Mailbox dot org and Migadu are both excellent options I’ve used in the past too, but I use Fastmail now as I was a legacy pobox dot com user and Fastmail owns them now too.
