December 2025 Website Updates: What did you do to your website today?

I love that you have a relationship lore section! Can’t wait to see that updated, what a cool idea

After letting it lie fallow for a while, I started work on my site’s mini-wiki again, with a page of thoughts about design (not just web design). Needs more links, but that can come later.

the domain is shared with my spouse, so i figure we needed to explain why we have such a weird domain name lol THANK U!

i might have to anonymize/redact some things b/c my spouse is becoming uncomfortable with the current state of the us govt lol but it was cute!

i love derg so much, plz link derg to everything lol

Couldn’t resist making the jump and start my own website after looking at other people’s sites. I plan to use it as a hub for all my creative projects. I used a template to get things started but will be modifying it as I go.

In the future I would like to add a blog. Still wondering if I should go for an external blog and link to it in navigation or have it built onto the website.

Great start–looking forward to seeing what you’ll add!

I saw that you have tumblr— would you want to incorporate a blog from tumblr (or are you trying to keep your art and blog separate?) You could also do bearblog like a couple of us have.

  • I added a new section to my blog header so you can find all my tiara posts in one spot.
  • I updated the Blog Links so it’s current as of this week.
  • Added 2 cookie recipes and some cool food-related links to the recipes page.

The cuneiform gingerbread is incredible - as is all the cool Roman bread. You reliably find the coolest things on the internet

I put up my very first little JavaScript snippet. It’s to display the “title” text in a tooltip on workout splits touch devices when you touch the bar.

Been avoiding JavaScript for as long as possible, and went to great lengths to use css to align the tooltips. But simply couldn’t find a decent way to display the tooltips on mobile that didn’t involve an awkward long press that worked only intermittently.

Feels like admitting defeat. Can’t believe we still don’t have a way to display the title attribute on mobile!

Oh gosh, thank you! Glad you enjoyed the cuneiform gingerbread link (and all the others I find!). I swear, one of these days I’ll actually make it!

Nice clean layout. I like!

Haven’t got much motivation for the past few months to work on websites, but I have been taking it one step at a time time. Doing a few things behind the scenes, mainly trying to revamping my art gallery on Velvouette’s website to work on any screen size;

and I finally got around to adding a few more entries for my pixel club;

Made a couple mishaps during that huge update that I’ve fixed:

  • Fixed responsiveness-related issue in Updates, Writings, and Projects
  • Guestbook is hopefully mobile-friendly now
  • The picture of me that was supposed to go in the About page now actually renders
  • Added three characters to Melvian Serif

Still not content with my Weird Web directory, I reorganized headings (especially in the reference section), and added a handful of links (to the wiki and personal website sections) brought over from my notes on cyberculture. That’s a separate document for now, but might become part of the site at some point.
