i had not realized how much ADHD was derailing my life until i found out i had it and actually learned what all it was affecting. i hope you find something that works for you
Made 3 posts to my skateboarding blog tonight. Mostly pics and a video. https://bloftin2.blog
I just got my first smartwatch:
gosh i love xiaomi, i have a redmi phone myself c;
yayy for journalling! i personally think its one of the best habits you can pick up nowadays (or ever, really). my journal is like a friend i can tell all of my secrets to, and theyre always safe.
Made a new blogpost!: Growth and Change
this was really good. i thought you did a nice job of navigating your thoughts throughout the post. when i was diagnosed with ADHD, for quite awhile i was stuck with the idea of āif someone wouldāve just said something/if i wouldāve known soonerā but i think you describe it well. that past version of yourself did everything they could based on what they had available to them, and it looks like they made a damn fine effort under the circumstances
the past is tough to let go. quite simply it takes time and getting adjusting to what you have now and in front of you. best of luck
Iām a Xiaomi fan too! But Iām a ~fancy lady~ and I have a POCO phone and their Watch S3.
Youāre very kind, thank you! It feels embarassing putting out a stream of consciousness into the world like this, but I think the inherent nature of the personal web helps a lot-- my blog is a little island, and people will have to work to find it vs. it getting pushed to someoneās feed based on an algorithm.
I donāt have ADHD and donāt suspect I do, but I actually use a lot of ADHD planning/scheduling/etc. techniques in my day to day life, so I feel I can emphathize with the feeling, even if itās just by a little bit.
The only way out is through
I wrote this pretty quickly, just trying to get the idea out of my head. We need more spaces for artists.
I donāt know if anyone else here is into birding, but I wanted to get the word out on this event!
I made a post with pics of all the coloring pages Iāve completed this year:
https://www.thefrugalgamer.net/blog/2025/02/11/coloring-pages-finished-this-year-so-far/
I donāt even want to be on social media anymore, but my poor brain is still jonesing for The Scroll.
I also wrote this guide to leaving Google over lunch today, after encountering my fourth person in one day who expressed a desire to quit using their services. (Iām guessing most folks here wonāt need it, but feel free to pass the link along if you also encounter people who want to leave Google.)
Sorry I missed your question but hereās my delayed reply.
I should be using a class for it. Your reminder is appreciated.
i finally did the blog question challenge that @fLaMEd tagged me in!
i tagged @cosy_diner, @frills, @xixxii, @emma, @frugalgamer, and @optimisticlucio! :)
Bruh, I donāt know why I was tagged, but yayy thanks
Iām reading it rn and Iāll be honest, a lot of your blogging habits are similar to mine lol, as well as feeling of struggling to express yourself directly. Iām glad Flamed encouraged you to keep blogging because you do have a lot to say. Hearing your process makes blogging a lot less daunting for me, and Iām sure it might also be the case for other people.
Donāt know if this is you also trying to push me out of the nest to write more blogs, but Iāll consider it haha. I know itās been a while.
Goat isnāt the only one whoās gonna be ribbing on you this time around

side note: Glad to know Iām not the only one who remembers Blogger. I didnāt use it much, but it still brings back some fond memories.
Youāre certainly not the only one. In fact, as I mentioned in my answers to the blog questions challenge, Blogger was one of the blogging platforms I had tried out when I was a teenager in the 2000s.
Although my teenage self didnāt stick to Blogger, it was used by many other Malaysian bloggers at the time, so had browsed many blogs hosted on Blogger as well.
