Thanks for the mention and checking out my page. I have added your post to my masterlist about said TERF’s fantasy novels.

Thanks. I just saw that.

For a brief moment, I made the embarrassing mistake of deleting my tumbleblog’s files from its server by accident, but thankfully it is now back to normal.

I wrote this in my grimoire last week, but put it up in my blog a little while ago.

The Fanlistings Network has approved my application to build and run a fanlisting for my favourite video game, Cassette Beasts!

Interesting read! I was of the perfect age when those novels came out, and I did enjoy them at the time. I have a kid now, and I’ve tried in the past to get him into reading them, hoping he’d enjoy them the way I did. But it turned out he couldn’t get past the first few chapters because he felt the abuse Harry suffered from his host family was too egregious. It kind of made me step back and re-evaluate just how normalized child abuse was growing up.

I’ve been making largish things out of cardboard and posting about them. Here are a couple of blog posts about a Makeup Organizer from cardboard, and a zine cabinet I made. I had a lot of fun putting together diagrams on how they’re constructed if anyone wants to follow along.

Love the zine cabinet.

I just wrote this, and I’d like suggestions from anybody here who cares to offer any because I’m thinking of putting this on its own domain and providing instructions for anybody who wants to redirect bots and visitors from shitty platforms away from their own sites.

Phew! I’m all caught up on this thread. I really enjoyed reading/skimming everyone’s blog posts. Here is one I made a little over a week ago where I get a little more opinionated than usual about the way fellow artists use social media.

I’m currently having a followup discussion with an acquaintance of mine in the comments, and they have some good insights.

Weekly blog post is up! In addition to the usual tidbits of what I’m reading, watching and doing I also shouted out a few of my fellow Neocitizens who are working on cool projects. Even if you don’t read the rest of the blog post, go check out what these other peeps are doing!

That essay about rewilding the internet is very cool indeed. :) Maybe I can even make a zine about that concept.

There are hacks to do so, for example listening to the eleventy.before event and copying content from another path into your content directory but that comes as the cost of lossing file watching when developing locally.

These are fantastic!

I made this yesterday, but forgot to link it here

Fandom and My Relationship with Creativity

I’ve decided to leave my obsession with media and fandom culture behind because it was not letting me grow as an artist and in general. Doesn’t mean I still don’t like engaging with a pre-existing thing, just that it’s no longer helping me if it’s everything I revolve my life around
