Awe thank you so much!!
ah it’s all so cute! that 404 page is so pleasant. and the gradient on sitemap on hover is super pretty. i like all the draggable toys everywhere
I added a page for fanfiction that I’ve written. I thought it would be neat to collect fics on my website, since I also have my TTRPG and roleplay related writing on there. It’ll probably lag a bit behind my AO3 in terms of staying up to date, but hey, better late than never.
i did entire re-design. also it should look better on mobile now!! (i still recommend visiting over pc)
i love the menu link hover transitions!
Fixed my RSS feeds for what must be the THIRD time. IDK why I keep keep breaking them.
Now they work I need to stop touching them lol
The design looks nice! Great job! :D
i was going for windows 7 esque vibes
i revised est. reading time. it used to count as 190wpm and show it as x mins y secs.
now it counts as 180 wpm and shows it as x - y mins.
it also now has a word counter.
I am adding some dog training resources that were a lifeline for me for back when my dog was crazy :)
Your site is one of my inspirations for Sunny’s site and why I decided to take the plunge towards making draggable images and divs there. I know it’s technically not relevant, but I just wanted to let you know that I really like your site and the updates are great <3
I like the 404 page the most, it’s really calming and has so many vibes all around (I don’t know how to explain it lol).
Yo wth, that’s such high praise! Sunny’s website is beautiful too, the colour scheme is great and the gradients look sooo pleasing.
I made a quick lil widget which builds the RSS feed URLs for different subreddits with whatever sorting you want. I plan to make an “RSS Starter Pack” in the near future in order to copy the success of BlueSky in quickly on-boarding people, and this widget will be part of it.
I am aware of the perceived hypocrisy of making back to back posts complaining about reddit, and then making a tool for it. But it is self-consistant in my head. I am unhappy that I HAVE to use it (But I still will use it)
i turned my neocities into a frutiger aero-esque page! it’s my first ever site that i made from scratch with css!
i’ve put back my fandom page with some updates! bl recs and itch game reviews are over there now, the bl recs page has refreshed css (looks p much the same though), added a link to my “what book should i read next” generator that i made, and i added 2 whole pages to my death note section. i was hoping to make more progress, but since i’ve stalled out i figured i’d just put up what i got and do more work on it another time.
I’ve added a search page to my website. It’s powered by Pagefind, which indexes your site on your own computer after you’ve built it, and adds a directory containing everything it needs to your site’s directory. Then you just upload your website as you normally would.
Ironically, I was just searching for something on your site a day or so ago and had to resort to creative Google searches. Thanks for adding this.
Google has been worse than useless for a while now, and I’m thinking about blocking them again. Even if I don’t, it seemed like a good idea to add a search function. I was thinking of making the URL https://starbreaker.org/grep/, though.
Wow, it works kn static sites as well… That is pretty cool.
Idk if I have enough writing on my site to justify a search function, but it is neat. Thanks for sharing
oooh, it works for static sites…?! that’s so cool!
