Iāve been working on putting all my pixel club images in their own folders. Right now my images folder is the digital equivalent of a hoarder house. So far Iāve gotten 2 of the 8 pixel clubs sorted out into their own folders. This is one of those things where you look back and think, Man, I wish I had been smarter about this from the beginning!
Yesterday I made another gallery page for some prompts I completed for one of my characters from the Pouflons ARPG. Najimaās Callings Gallery.
Also @hermit I looked through your woodworking projects page and these are all so cool! The Inset Sphere Bowl is my favourite. Looking at it boggles my mind. I like how it sometimes looks like itās convex instead of concave at certain angles.
Today I finally finished putting together a new layout for Velvetās collections page and managed to use a code generator to make an image map. Even though itās a small thing Iām still happy with the results, I hope to make more pages soon
I made a new site for one of my personas Luxe. I went in a completely different direction this time and focused more on html-css compared to Velvetās more illustration based design. Thought this would be a good opportunity to think less about the overall āaestheticā of the site, rather challenge myself by learning how to do things with just code and a few images. CSS Grids will be the death of me, thank God I decided on a simple layout this time or I would have definitely be shitting bricks
The gist of it is that I take 5 mins to write down something about a random ordinary object that I and a lot of other people use, yet gets taken for granted. I thought it was a good way to fill his site with something text based as well as find appreciation for all the wonderful things that weāve been given in the modern age.
It wasnāt your intention but thank you for letting me discover web 1.0 hosting. Didnāt know about the project and since thereās a patreon I added them to my list of people I support.
Too much going on recently again, and it seems my cats have a longer attention span than I have. None of these pages are truly finished yet, but they should be early next week - unless I get distracted againā¦
I am still messing around with RingLink and making it send emails. It was so much easier in the olden days! Iām still working my way through how email actually works and trying things to make RingLink work properly.
Then someone brought up the subject of the feud between Steve Martin and the city of Terre Haute. So I started on a new page about that. This was over 40 years ago and other sites are getting things such as the dates when things happened wrong, so I ended up writing a page about every performance at a plce called the Hulman Center. Iāve even ordered a 40 year old copy of the Play boy magazine that started the āfeud.ā
I decided to change domain registrars. Most of it is going well, but between the two companies, GoDaddy and DNSExit, I think I am about to lose two domains. I am so ticked off as one of them took me 20 years to reregister.
I have never really got into the habit of posting to forums, but love seeing what other people are doing so have visited almost everyone hereās site.
Iāve been updating some pages, mainly fixing broken links. The trouble with old graphics sites is that, if you found them in the wild, one day youāll try to go to it and come across a domain for sale or suspended site page instead and have to search for it on the Wayback Machine.
Iām continuing the slow process of putting all the pixel club graphics in their own dedicated image folders.
Also, I added some new follower/following buttons to the index page and added a new government cat to the Government Cats and Riot Dogs page.
