I hope this is alright to post here! I’ve created four personal site directories, each around a certain theme, and to make them (hopefully) easier to join, I’ve turned them into GitHub repositories!
If you resonate with any of them, I’d love to have you participate! And feedback and suggestions more than welcome, of course. You’ll receive proper credit!
Did you know that you can use Markdown to format posts here, including links? You can also paste URLs directly into your post and Discourse will format them for you.
Hi Matthew! Wonderful to see you here, and thank you! I’m not yet able to add links in my posts, given my permission levels, so I did that as a compromise. I should’ve waited to post this!
I just looked at your site and saw a Queer Web directory and a Static HTML directory on your sitemap but no others. Are these the ones you’re talking about? It might be helpful to tell people a bit about the directories you run.
That’s an excellent point, Zilla, thank you so much! They weren’t properly categorized, so I’ve moved the links under appropriate headings in my sitemap, and have credited you on my Colophon. I’ve also added links and more context to my original post.
Always exciting when you see your website linked somewhere you didn’t expect!
Thanks for making the Oceania directory, I have been itching for a while for some kind of Australia wearing or something but never had the time / motivation to actually manage it myself. This totally scratches the itch!
What an interesting grouping of sites, and I love your little notes about what you enjoy about each of them. I recognise some but looking forward to discovering more of these
No need to credit me but thank you! I just checked them out. I’ll have to submit a link to the queer directory when I make my web presence more presentable and get a proper site online :p
