I had no idea the term “roguelike” came from a specific game title. I always assumed it was from the DnD class (though I guess it sort of was, since the creators of Rogue were inspired by DnD).

Man, this reminded me how much I loved “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon” as a kid. In fact, I was happy to discover this recent remake:
