“Relevant” goals have direct relation to whatever the business’s needs are… or whatever you are paid to do in the case that these concepts do not overlap.

Since taking this library job, I’ve had a lot more thoughts about “bullshit jobs” and how the necessity of a task seems to be inversely correlated with how well it pays.
(My only issue with this job is it does not pay enough to live on. Admin knows this and says nothing when I do freelance work at the desk between students, so I don’t even have a complaint about how I’m to make ends meet. Just that I wish I did not have to do bullshit work in order to eat and sleep under a roof at the same time.)
