The other day on my main blog, concretelunch.info, I posted a “thank you” to my readers, after briefly explaining that I stopped using analytics a while back and I honestly have no idea how many people follow it via RSS or even see it.
A day or so later I got an email from a former skateboarder who has been following my RSS feed for years. Someone I’ve never met, never communicated with, and I had no idea existed. He’s never comment on the blog.
This was amazingly cool. It was meaningful.
