I’ve noticed recently that whenever I reply to someone, it doesn’t direct the reply to them anymore and just adds it to the thread as if I was replying to the OP. Was anything changed recently to cause this? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Does it show up as a reply properly before you post the comment? Also, what browser are you using?
Yes. I see a little arrow to Jay (you) right now.
I use Vivaldi.
If you’re replying to the latest post in the thread, Discourse won’t display it as a reply, though the author will still be notified. I guess each post is implied to be a reply to the one above it, unless noted otherwise, which is certainly a design choice.

EDIT: It’s working on this one! It’s okay. At least people are being notified!

Right, Jay’s post is directly above yours so there’s no reply marker, but it is two posts above mine so my reply gets the marker. Had I replied to your post, there would be no marker.
