hhah this is epic. didnt get the 99th point though, why 1.45mb?
Back in the day, the standard removable storage was a 3.5 inch “floppy” disc. Its maximum capacity was 1.44MB. So, padding a file to 1.45MB would make it too big to fit on one floppy without compression, and compressing the file would take time the heroes might not have.
