I’m not sure how many of you around here are on the Gemini small-web protocol, but its creator, Solderpunk, has posted the call for the third offline-first software challenge of 2026. It lasts for a month, so I am posting this a bit late, but I figured it might stir some of your creative juices.
The challenge is to create a piece of software that operates largely offline. Network connectivity is allowed, but must be kept to a minimum and be designed to be taken offline afterwards. Entries can be posted to your gemlog (if you have one), or shared with Solderpunk via email. I’d also love to see any entries if you make them as well!
