This sounds great in theory, although the seemingly modernist design ethos does not exactly inspire me. I would think that a magazine that focuses on “niche design” would itself be a little more adventurous in terms of its own design. Maybe I’m being ultra cynical though. I’d be curious what others think, especially if anyone buys the size.
Personally the thing I find most annoying about this is that it’s all men if I’m not mistaken. And I get that it’s easier to find men to feature on something like this (and I face the same issue with People and Blogs where it’s A LOT easier to find men with blogs than women) but still.
it seems like an interesting project and i quite like the design style (though as melvian said it seems pretty uniform for being niche…) but it costing $40 (with shipping), the printer being in israel does turn me off, and it just being men does turn me off. but would be interesting to see others thoughts!
