I recently came across a new forum software, Neobb that’s being developed by an indie developer. This forum software is going to be using Ruby on Rails as its main programming language.
Its developer describes the software as “ Neobb is a community-driven forum designed specifically for Neocities-style sites, the small web, and indie web communities. It also aims to bring back the nostalgic feel of old-school bulletin board forums while giving Neocities users a dedicated space to connect and discuss.
Currently, the following features have been completed:
Domain Registration(neobb.org)
- User registration
- User’s can log in
- Password recovery (Partially implemented)
- CRUD for topics and replies
