Careful, that sounds like you’re falling prey to FOMO.
I want one of these, yes, but if I don’t manage to get one it will have zero impact on my life.

I mean, I can assure you it’s not just FOMO. I don’t appreciate having my concerns and points reduced to that (though the thread IS getting really messy and hard to track, with two different conversions happening, so I’ll probably leave it off here). I just think sources of information should be easier to access and not tied to limited time releases, especially if providing alternatives is of little-to-no burden on the creators.

i also think there should be a pdf version but i remember in one of the opening essays (i don’t have it on me) that a large part of the reason for the phone book is to combine the physical with the digital with them not being opposed things. so i think for the creators having a pdf version goes against the spirit of the phone book.
