always interesting to stumble upon another indie web subculture! it seems like this main website is not really maintained at the moment (hasn’t been updated in a couple months from the look of it), but the “node” communities have varying degrees of activity. i found them via the internet archive’s twitter, they’ve got an event at IA HQ coming up.

edit: it looks like the dweb nodes just started back up with meeting regularly! great timing.

hmm. Looking through their FAQ because I was curious how they’d handle decentralizing stuff like payments, and I see they’re talking about blockchain and Ethereum cryptocurrency.

Let that inform your opinion as it may.
