The article describes inserting ads and rotating ads.Is this really new to anyone? This sounds like the exact phenomenon I wanted to escape from the mainstream web.

Also, that sample ad looks like a hella gay parody of those old “Game of War: Fire Age” ads from about a decade ago, but instead of Kate Upton we get a jacked-looking lumberjack.

Also, the correct default answer for “do you want tor receive push notifications” is not “yes”. Nor is “maybe later” an acceptable alternative. The correct answer is “no”, and a resonable alternative is “hell no”.

I agree, but it appears to be satire. The further you read and the worse the reading situation becomes makes it more clear it’s not serious. It was actually pretty amusing when I realized it was a joke.

At first, I thought this was a legitimate article about blog monetization, which I would ignore on sight… but I decided to check it out of curiosity.

Wow, that was an experience.

Haha, I just noticed that the little counter in the corner increases every time you click on one of the fake ads. Very nice touch!

Love how it descends into madness at the end.

Oh, I read it, but I took it a bit too literally. I do that sometimes.

I happened across this article the other day! Left me with a feeling like I’d walked through a waterfall, for lack of any better description. I’d dare call it a masterpiece of digital performance art!
