Homestar Runner: Back to a Website

There’s a new toon from my favorite place:
Back to a Website <-(Ruffle player on the HR website)
The YouTube version

It’s one of those toons that turns into a song - and I the lyrics really made me beam, so I thought people in the community would appreciate it too. It’s a really silly, really fun watch. Although I don’t appreciate the slander of site maps. runs to finish working on my site map

Homestar Runner is very important to me and I’m so happy they still make stuff when they feel like it. :>

Don’t forget to actually click on their sitemap button in revenge!

I am kinda curious if anyone has ever benefit from viewing a sitemap before? Working in ecommerce they’re a hard requirement for search engine optimisation purposes (or were; I don’t think they’re as much of a priority for SEO as the rest of the site markup being on point, these days), but I’ve never personally found them useful (though can see how sites that omit navigation controls might offer it as an accessibility feature?)

I find them most useful when doing SEO stuff for clients, honestly. Which feels like a case of snake eats its own tail if I have ever seen one.

I used to look at sitemaps a lot for pagan websites I viewed. It’s a lot easier to find what I’m looking for rather than following someone’s possibly bizarre navigation schemes.
