Now, despite how many more people use the internet, I usually end up at the same three or four websites, and I end up a lot more bored.
I have to wonder what kind of search mechanisms people are using to look around for things these days. So on that note, let me turn this into a discussion prompt: what starting points do y’all use to browse?
I figure following links from these forum threads and button walls on personal sites are a given, for the folks who hang around here… but then again, maybe I shouldn’t make assumptions.

for me, it’s literally more-or-less what you said - i bookmark cool people, see what sites they recommend, then i bookmark them and see what sites they recommend, repeat ad nauseum.
i genuinely don’t think there’s any other method that’s superior to that. people with good taste tend to be connected to other people with good taste
