Rivescript, nice, that brings me back!

But yeah, thank you for reading my article(s), hope you’ll enjoy browsing the site!

The creative botmaking community is definitely still around, and looking at the results of a poll in one of the articles, there’s also interest and potential in growing it, which is really exciting to see.

If you end up making more bots, definitely do reach out, maybe even consider joining the associated Discourse forum! (Happy to DM a link if not easy to find.)

An idea dump for what I want to put on my (currently blank) website as part of Small Web July. I thought writing the code would be the hard part, but surprisingly I’m a bit overwhelmed by figuring out the content

This is so relatable to me! I can’t seem to get a site online because I feel stuck about what to put on there and/or how to organise it.

Your ideas for shrines sound awesome!

random, but as a romanian, your username is really cool :] your shrines sound like they’d be so much fun when you get around to them!

I struggle with wanting to remain anonymous and sharing bits of my IRL life. And just my whole website in general - I like the idea of mapping it out to stop the overwhelm of “I could do anything! now what”

Some new posts.

Recent Traveller RPG session on my Traveller blog.

Recent D&D session on my D&D blog.

Recent post about travel to Alabama and seeing family on my main blog.

Been catching up here after over a week of vacation.

We keep our AC on about 70F here in Dallas. I’ll turn it up when they turn off the fucking crypto farms and AI installations.

OK, when catching up on blog posts I’ll admit it, @starbreaker is where I start.

In between laughing I’m agreeing with all of the post I’m about to reference.

In fact I agreed so hard I had to blog about it.

When my wife and I were young enough to sometime elicit the question “why don’t you have kids” or whatever I always simply wanted to beat the person to a pulp. When someone found out, later, that we were minus one uterus, they would ask “have you considered adopting”, as if the lack of a child was a problem we were trying to solve. The answer to that one can be a sarcastic “OH! We never thought of that because we are only adults with masters degrees and don’t think so good.” or “If you are so interested in adoption, why don’t YOU adopt.”

I’ve got a new post with a bunch of mini game reviews. I picked up an android console recently and I’ve been having a lot of fun trying games I’d never played before:

Starting July 21, I’m going into a second hibernation.

I will be uploading one last animation before this.

The Weekly Wrap Up is posted! Links this week include a mysterious sound, the story of 2 guys making their own ISP, and a scholarly article on the composition of ancient Middle Eastern kohl. I completed another cross stitch project, saw a movie and have a little rant. Plus, as usual, I listened to, read and watched things.
