I’m not happy about this, either, but I know where I stand. I know I’m on the right side of history. And if I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die with my boots on.
Yeah, Darkhaus never got much promo in the US, and they aren’t making albums any longer. The reason I know about them is that Spotify had recommended them based on me listening to Volbeat and The Sisters of Mercy (before the service was completely enshittified).

Reading other people’s perspectives & knowing I’m not alone has been comforting. Thank you all for sharing.
I don’t have any words yet, so I shared some other people’s words.
Considering the backlog here my post feels a little silly to post here, but… hey it might be helpful to add a distraction from the nightmare vortex.
The Weekly Wrap Up has been posted! Some cozy links, found a new game to get into, trying to watch some things but more successful at reading this week.

I dropped a few posts over the weekend.
This one isn’t a happy fun read.
And here I’m mostly shitposting.

You’ve created the perfect phrase for describing how many of us feel these days.
Thanks, but I’m not sure I created it. Back in the day there was this movie called Alien Nation starring James Caan and Mandy Patinkin. It ended up getting a 1-season TV series, too.
Thanks so much for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoy the posts and found the link useful.
