our monthly webweaving workshop is online via zoom! the links are posted on discourse in the Community Events section and announced in the Announcements channel here and on discord.
you can always make a thread here and/or on discord asking for feedback if that’s something you want! folks in the cafe tend to err on the side of being encouraging about whatever you want to do with your site, though, so it helps to be specific about what kind of feedback you want and what your goals are for your site. everybody has their own style, interests, preferences, etc.
besides the cafe discord server, i believe the neocities reddit has a discord server; it seems like folks on the subreddit itself aren’t super into feedback-type threads (although im not there very often), but maybe on discord they’re more amenable (no idea though, i’m not in it!)
and i think the indieweb chat is accessible via discord. that’s all the discords i know about! maybe other folks know of more.
we have a whole heap of tutorials and other learning resources in the resource list that could help with figuring out best practices, although what constitutes “best practice” varies a lot depending on what your goals and interests with your website are! (for example, making your website more legible to web crawlers is “best practice” if you want to be found via search engines, but making your website less legible to web crawlers is “best practice” if you want to prevent datascraping!)
