The thing I’m most proud of, if you can call it that, is the Easter eggs on the covers of the magazine issues on my website. I love various riddles, and I like it when people notice them. My favorite Easter egg is on the cover of issue 8 of the magazine.

I love the feel of the invisible buttons in my footer that float upwards on hover, and sink down on click — there’s just something about that whole behavior I enjoy ^^

Maybe I’m a little proud of my journal page. It took me weeks to come up with the layout I wanted, and I’m still tweaking things here and there.
Rn, I’m trying to figure out how to make the page flip smoothly like a real book. I’m also struggling with the background image. I’ve tried using background-size: contain and even background-size: 100% 100%, but neither gives me the look I want. One leaves empty space, and the other stretches the image too much and makes it look distorted. 
It’s not perfect but I think I’ll stick with this version for now. After all the trial and error, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

I’m proud of the fact that no page on my website uses JavaScript except the search page, and that it works better with assistive technologies than the vast majority of the commercial web.

My Cassette Beasts shrine. Cassette Beasts is my favourite video game ever, so making a dedicated section for it on my own website fills me with pure joy, and it serves as a great reminder that having a personal website is great for showing off the things you love. I am also proud that my passion for Cassette Beasts has encouraged some people on the indie web to check it out, including in 32-Bit Cafe.
