I’ve been waiting for this moment to finally make this topic.
Been adding some new stuff to MVNDY.CL lately, mostly around music :)
I made an Audio Archive where I’m slowly collecting tracks from independent/underground Chilean artists I like or that are somehow connected to the scene around me. You can listen to everything directly on the site while you look through the site.
I also added a Subject Database, which is a little directory of DJs from the Chilean underground scene. Instead of making normal profiles, I’m treating everyone as “subjects” inside the MVNDY archive. I thought it would be a fun way of mixing the fictional language of the comic with actual people from the scene.
The audio archive is still pretty small, but it will grow with time. I’m waiting for other artists to send me their files and descriptions.
I’m starting to like how the site is becoming more than just a website for the comic — it’s slowly turning into this weird mix of the comic, music, people around me and things happening in the local scene.
Would love to know what you think, especially about the Audio and Subjects pages (and if the music player breaks on your browser…i hope not
)
more stuff soon :]
