What’s going on, Internet? What did you do to your website today?
Updated my media log on time for once! the human finny
I’m three days into the 2027 update. Touching almost every page. Can’t wait to ship this!
Yesterday I created my about page, and today I got started on writing the CSS for it. My goal was to make it functional first, and pretty later.
I am slowly converting my frontend pages from Vue.js to static pages. I want a more accessible website, which can even be read from the console. And I currently love to use Symfony Twig Components, which makes reusing html parts feel really good. The last few days I converted my blog and timeline, today I finished the home page. What’s left is the project pages.
I just converted the whole site from a just post site to a digital garden. It still requires a lot of tweaks but happy so far.
made a draft index page with a new artwork! (Click the X button to see the artwork! which I made through a reference photo from Pinterest.
This week I feel like every time I notice a small problem and fix it, I then find three more. I think I’m almost done, but sheesh.
I went through Off the beaten path, reworked the entries to make the html/css more semantic (less scary), checked links and improved the descriptions in the alt tags. I also added a new entry, Casa Grande Photogrammetric Test Range, the first one in a long time!
There’s also a new entry in the Godzilla Chronicles.
Usually I have big plans and then just manage to bang out a blog post. I’m impressed with myself for having done all this!
I pretty much hit the reset button on my website.
Among other things, I provide Atom feeds instead of RSS, and my Atom feeds are human readable using CSS instead of XSLT.
The feeds still need some work; headlines should have a short content section that provides links for the convenience of people viewing the feed in their browser. Also, maybe there should be a logo image that the stylesheet displays, if possible.
I made a new entry on my cemeteries page for some very cool slate headstones
Added a /collections page to my site, as I figured it would be good to have a different way to go through my ever-growing blog post archive! :D
I finally split the two, one sort of personal, and one sort of things I like to tinker with. Some thing still don’t work, but I’m trying my best to get everything at least link to where it says.
I finally uploaded some digital art on my website. I initially started this whole project to show my art, and then I did everything else first ![]()
ive changed pretty much everything i have a new layouttt
On my WIP new site, I have something starting to resemble workable layouts for my front page and individual posts. Still working on individual pages—like slashpages—and feed lists.
Would love to see the progress. Would love to see more screenshots or links in these threads
