The BBC is making a fairly wide variety of sound effects available for use; if you like sound effects on your website some of these might be worth using.

For example, a manatee snorting.

You can download sounds for non-commercial use with attribution; commercial use requires payment.

Not many people will remember it - not many knew about it when it was released a little over 50 years ago.
